I still watch “Leave It To Beaver” to this day, is one of my fave TV series ever and always will be, it takes me back to a more gentle and peaceful time in my life as my life now is ending due to illness, “Leave It To Beaver” takes my mind off of things, I can never be thankful enough.

Bewitched is another one of the those TV shows that you never grow out of. Again, is one of those series that is gentle and takes me back to a more peaceful era. As I near the end of my life now, due to illness, Bewitched is one of those 60’s series that is timeless and I own all 8 seasons on DVD. Happy 50th anniversary, Bewitched! Pic on my post is my son.

HAPPY 50th Anniversary, Bewitched! That’s Awesome that your brother landed a role! My Grandmothers elementary school teacher was Agnes Morehead! Least, that’s what my mom was told.

Love this show for its creativity, ahead of its time. Love Agnes Moorehead, my mother’s acting teacher! And loved Elizabeth Montgomery. She was so sweet, I wanted to be just like her.

No disrespect to the talent of Dick Sargent, but your father Dick York WAS Darrin. There was no way even with his talent Dick Sargent was able to step into the giant shoes your father left as Darrin Stephens.

  • Chris York says:

I think Dick York deserves a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. He was simply marvelous as the original Darrin on Bewitched. I’m probably biased because he was my father.

Jerry, believe it or not we were watching a rerun of Leave it to Beaver when my father passed in Michigan 1992. My brother and I have no ill feelings toward that show as a matter fact it was kind of nice that something that wholesome was on during a very stressful time.

Saw your brother Jimmy on Bewitched. A number of years ago I thought at first,” Is that Jerry?” Then even after I saw the credits I still thought it may be a twin brother. I noticed from my prime time book that Jimmy was in a show that ran about 3 weeks. A little while ago I saw that he was about 7 years youngerthan you.. but I knew b4 that ..that he was at least a little younger. Anyhow..how are ypu all doing? Message soon! Did your sister do any tv?
