Growing up in an Italian household and environment, LITB made me feel like I was a part of the American family. Thanks for all the fun. Hope to meet some day and say hello in person.

Watch Leave It To Beaver every morning at 8 and 8:30 on MeTV in Jupiter Florida. Have watched the show for decades. Hard to believe the show is over 60 years old. I grew up in a very similar household and suburban neighborhood. They are running the very first shows from 1957 that Norman Tokar directed. Great storylines. Thanks Jerry for the memories.

Don’t like & watch today’s shows. Yours was the GREATEST. Still watch it to this day. I like how each episode ended with lessons of life. Some of them still make me cry & I’m 60 years old. No show today has the quality yours had. Too bad that’s so. And, like Tony Dow said in an interview, too many shows today are “not watchable”. Too much junk not worth the time to watch. Your make believe family to me, remains MEMORABLE. It provided escape from harsh realities of life same time fostered the needed lessons to handle REAL life. No show does that today. No show comes close. The only negative is that your show lacked diversity. But, we can’t have it all. And, diversity perhaps would have translated to overwhelming tragedy given the divide and discord of the times. So, JOB WELL DONE pretending all was good. To this day, – IT GIVES ME HOPE.
